A new trailer has dropped for underground idol anime OshiBudo (whose full title translates to "I'd Die for My Fave to Get to Budoukan"), introducing two new voice actors... neither of whom are voicing central idol Maina.
It looks like, despite her position as the object of protagonist Eripyo's affections, Maina is being left at least somewhat of a mystery. (Though you can hear her voice, so feel free to theorize!) But the latest PV does introduce two new idol fans:
First up is Kumasa-san, voiced by Tomoaki Maeno (White Blood Cell, Cells at Work!). Next is Yoshitaka Yamaya (Akita Toshiro, Touken Ranbu) as Motoi-san. The pair join Ai Fairouz (Hibiki Sakura, How Heavy Are the Dumbbells You Life?) as Eripyo, a 20-year-old fan of underground idol unit Cham-Jam. When less-popular group member Maina realizes Eripyo's devotion to her is even more heartfelt than fandom, she's on board... but wacky hijinks ensue.
OshiBudo is due out in January 2020.
