Magia Record introduced a whole new world of magical girls. For those looking to keep track, a new book series is cataloguing the new characters introduced to the world of Puella Magi Madoka Magica.
The first volume of the new series, collectively titled Magia Archive, will feature art and stats for the first 40 girls to appear in the popular mobile game. Each entry will include character designs, facial expressions, early drafts with comments, and each girl's respective Doppel: a power-up based on her Witch form. There will also be information on Witches and plot elements in the game up to Chapter 5 of the main story.
Volume 1 is now available from Houbunsha, with Volume 2 due to be printed in Winter 2020.
