Love Live! Sunshine!! VA Unit Aqours Kicks Off Their Fifth Anniversary Dome Tour in September

The official website for the Love Live! Sunshine!! franchise announced the schedule for "Love Live! Sunshine!! Aqours 6th LoveLive! DOME TOUR 2020," its nine-member voice actress unit Aqours' forthcoming fifth-anniversary dome tour. Due to the spread of the COVID-19 infection, its first two concerts in Nagoya and Saitama are decided to be held without the audience and live-streamed for a fee. And there is a possibility that the remaining three concerts in Tokyo, Osaka, and Fukuoka could be treated the same way.

The ticket price for the concerts is 13,000 yen (about 122 US dollars), while a fee for the live-streaming has not yet been decided.

Aqours started their activities on June 30, 2015. To commemorate their fifth anniversary year, various plans have been carried out under the project name "Aqours 5th Anniversary Jimoto Ai! Take Me Higher Project." Their first dome concert tour is one of them. They previously performed at Seibu Dome (capacity: 32,725 / 2017, 2018, 2019) and Tokyo Dome (capacity: 57,000 / 2018), but it will be their first tour to be held entirely at the domed stadiums.

Mewanwhile, the theme song CD for the dome tour, "Fantastic Departure!" is released in Japan today, July 22. It was originally set for a release on May 20 but has been postponed due to COVID-19. Its first press limited edition comes with a fastest advance lottery coupon for the dome tour's ticket.
